The Nativity, paper sculpture, book art, christmas decor, Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, repurposed book, holiday decoration, book sculpture
This is an EXAMPLE of a sculpture I have made in the past. This exact sculpture is not for sale, it lives in Michigan!
This is a representation of the Nativity, with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus with some manger animals: a goat, sheep and donkey. Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus are on a platform and all the figures can be independently moved and positioned. The manger can be displayed open or closed and the interior has a depiction of the wise men following the star to visit Baby Jesus. The figures come in their own foam packaging for easy storage in the off-season.
The entire sculpture was spun out of the book The Case for Christmas by Lee Strobel and a large found architecture book.
Like what you see but wish it were a camel instead of a donkey? Or a different representation all together? Send me a message and let's design something together. Custom work is really my specialty and I'd love to sculpt your favorite story for you.
Work commences upon payment and most sculptures can be completed within 3-4 weeks (often sooner!) depending on the individual orders. Holiday time frames will vary, according to my work load.

These sculptures are all one-of-kind handmade works of art. They are delicate and will vary in shape and size. Some elements of the sculpture may seem flexible or able to be slightly manipulated, but this is not recommended. The text strips are easily ripped or damaged with manipulation. No refunds will be issued for damage incurred through manipulation.
Any custom work involves as much communication with the buyer as they desire, including status reports and photos of work progress. Because of this, I cannot offer refunds on custom work.
